Some more of my favorite, guilt-free food replacements

I thought about updating the Protein Bar post with more products but there’s only so much scrolling one really wants to do. It’s so laborious! And if you have already looked at that post then you know I stock up on Orgain’s products monthly. It’s my favorite brand of plant-based protein powders, they just make it taste right, you know what I mean?

Here I will list the products I’ve enjoyed so far. I’m also going to add some other products that feel almost guilt-free. Check them out and let me know what you think!

Orgain Pre-Made Protein Shakes

I still prefer to make my own shakes but when I have to travel or work away from home and I can’t pack a zip-pock bag full of powdery substance without looking suspicious then I grab a few of these with me. Also much sturdier packaging than the zip-lock bag, I recommend you get a container with snap-shut lids instead of the bags. Oh but then you have to bring a shaker bottle with the ball whisk and those things are huge…I don’t know who I’m trying to convince, if you have the room do that but if not or you want convenience, then get these shakes!

Orgain Organic Protein Bar

For all the sweet tooths out there! I already mentioned this protein bar on the other post but in case you didn’t see it, the chocolate chip cookie dough one is pretty good. We have this multi-level bento box we put all the treats into and now it’s packed with a variety of protein bars. We only buy a couple of real candy bars on the weekends, gotta control those cravings!! Well I have to, otherwise I just graze until there is nothing left.

Edamame Pasta

If you’re looking for a low-carb, high protein, high fiber noodle, this is it! I’ve tried versions made with lentils, chickpeas, quinoa, rice-pea-lentil combos, hemp, etc and they have a certain texture, like they’re about to dissolve into a mealy mush. Edamame noodles have sort of a nutty flavor, good chew and most importantly, sauces don’t slide off back onto the plate like some of the other pastas.
